Blundstone Care Guide

Common materials and how to care for them:

 

Care for Leather Uppers

  • Cleaning: Remove dirt and dust with a soft brush or damp cloth. Use a leather cleaner for deeper cleaning to remove grime without damaging the leather.
  • Conditioning: Regularly apply a leather conditioner or cream to keep the leather supple and prevent drying or cracking.
  • Protection: Use a water and stain repellent spray to protect against moisture and stains. Reapply after cleaning or exposure to water.

Care for Suede and Nubuck Uppers

  • Cleaning: Use a suede/nubuck brush to gently remove dirt and restore the texture. For stubborn stains, apply a suede cleaner carefully.
  • Protection: Spray the suede or nubuck with a water and stain protector to prevent damage from moisture and dirt.
  • Maintenance: Regular brushing keeps the nap looking fresh and the material in good condition over time.

Care for Rustic Leather Uppers

  • Note; rustic leathers DO change colour over time through sun exposure and wear. It is common for rustic leathers to get lighter.
